World Cup Day 21 - Wednesday 1 & Thursday 2 July
England v DR Congo Tips
This bet has landed in two of three England's group games, with the only exception being the 0-0 draw with Ghana. In the likes of Wissa and Bakambu, DR Congo have the attacking capability to cause England issues at the back.
To compound this, England's defence has been less than perfect, with Tuchel yet to settle on a consistent back four. DR Congo have forced the opposition goalkeeper into a save in each of their games so far, and may fancy their chances from range.
Kane hitting the target twice is one of the best value bets you could have picked out so far in the World Cup. He had two shots on target and scored against Panama on Saturday, taking his average to 2.05 shots on target per 90 this World Cup. His domestic numbers for Bayern this season also support this claim, with 2.53 shots on target per 90 in the Bundesliga and 2.17 shots on target per 90 in the Champions League.
Belgium v Senegal Tips
Senegal's 5-0 win over Iraq in the final group game secured their place in the knockouts as one of the best-ranked 3rd place teams. They lost both previous games 3-1 to France and 3-2 to Norway, making it 3/3 group games where this bet landed. This bet also landed in two of Belgium's three group games, with the only exception a 0-0 draw with Iran (a game where Belgium went down to 10 men).
With goals being a common occurrence when these teams play, it means corners are also a possibility. Belgium cleared this line on their own when they played New Zealand, racking up eight corners. Senegal's games are averaging 11.34 corners per game, with 6.67 for and 4.67 against, with this selection landing in all three of their games.
USA v Bosnia Tips
This bet landed in two of Bosnia's three group games, the expedition being when they fell one short against Qatar.
Bosnia committed more fouls (17.7 per game) and collected more cards (28) than any other European side during qualifying, and are averaging 15.7 fouls per game this World Cup (the highest of any team still left in the competition).
The referee for this game is Raphael Claus, who has a career card average of 4.25 cards per game across 260 appointments.

World Cup Day 20 - Tuesday 30 June & Wednesday 1 July
Ivory Coast v Norway Tips
I see this being an open game between two sides who could go far in this summer's World Cup.
Norway haven't kept a clean sheet yet, and have even conceded to the likes of Iraq in the group stage, and Nyland was forced to make two saves in each of the two games he has started.
Nyland was forced to make 2.12 saves per 90 during qualifying, and I can see the Ivory Coast causing him issues here.
Despite being rested for the final group game against France, Erling Haaland has so far delivered at this World Cup, with four goals in only two games. He is averaging 5.00 shots per 90 at the World Cup, with 3.50 being on target.
Looking at his numbers during qualifying, he averages 3.57 shots on target per 90, and looks set to continue this rich shot on target form against the Ivory Coast.
France v Sweden Tips
France have arguably been the best side so far this World Cup, and have more than enough talent to go all the way for a third time.
France dismantled Norway 4-1 last time out, with Kylian Mbappe looking like he is in the best form of his career. They scored 3+ goals in all of their group games, and considering this is a Sweden side that shipped five to the Netherlands, this should be a straightforward win for the French.
Kylian Mbappe and the World Cup are a match made in heaven. The Real Madrid star already has four goals to his name, and is averaging 3.05 shots on target per 90 so far at the World Cup.
France's attacking options should worry a Sweden side that failed miserably in keeping tabs on Brian Brobbey when they lost 5-1 to the Netherlands. Mbappe should enjoy another fruitful outing here.
Mexico v Ecuador Tips
I can see this one being a feisty encounter. Ecuador are off the back of a historic 2-1 win over Germany, a game where they picked up three yellow cards.
While Ecuador received an average of 1.34 yellow cards per game during World Cup qualification, they had players sent off in two of their final three fixtures, against Peru and Argentina.
Mexico drew over two yellow cards in two of their three group games, and even managed to get two South African players sent off in the opening game of the tournament at this very venue.

World Cup Day 19 - Monday 29 & Tuesday 30 June
Brazil v Japan Tips
Morocco gave sides a blueprint on how to break down Brazil, and I think we'll see goals here.
Brazil saw 2+ goals in each of their group games, and so did Japan.
BTTS is also another angle to look at, but with it being a knockout tie, over 1,5 goals seems the correct play.
Japan's lack of height in their squad is an angle Brazil should look to attack, especially from set-pieces.
Japan have conceded 3+ corners in each of their group games, including against arguably the worst team to compete at this World Cup, Tunisia.
Brazil won 4+ corners in each of their group games, and with the aerial threats of Casemiro and Gabriel in their ranks, they should look to attack Japan in the set-piece.
Germany v Paraguay Tips
Paraguay were smashed 4-1 in their opening game by hosts USA, and then finished the group with a dull 0-0 draw with Australia.
They have clawed their way into the knockouts and will be without the suspended Diego Gomez for this one, having picked up his second yellow card against Australia.
Despite a disappointing loss to Ecuador, Germany should be safe in advancing to the next round of the World Cup.
With 10 goals to their name so far this World Cup, they top the goals for rankings and should swat aside Paraguay.
Netherlands v Morocco Tips
Knockout ties are usually quite tense, but as the Netherlands have scored 2+ in each in their group games, and conceded in each, I anticipate goals here.
Morocco have also bagged 2+ in two of their three group games (the only exception being a 1-0 win over Scotland).
Morocco finished their group by conceding two in a 4-2 win over Haiti, a win that demonstrated their defensive vulnerabilities.
On paper, the Dutch have looked one of the best teams at this World Cup, but they have conceded goals, and with that, chances.
Bart Verbruggen has been pretty busy across these games as well, making 11 saves across his three starts (3.67 per 90) with a save percentage of 73.3%.
Morocco drew two saves from Allison when they played Brazil, so they should hit a similar line here.
