Man City guilty of all 115 charges bar one

Friday 25 September - Citizens out to 7/2 to win title and Haaland 2/1 to leave

Manchester City are 3/14.00 to be relegated from the Premier League this season after reports suggest that they have been found guilty on all bar one of the 115 Premier League financial rules they were accused of breaching.

The Betfair Sportsbook's 3/14.00 quote can be backed in a Man City 'Champagne Supercharges' Specials market, that also includes odds at 7/42.75 that the Citizens will be docked points for the 2027/28 season and 2/13.00 that star striker Erling Haaland will leave the club before the start of next season.

As a result of today's new, Arsenal have shortened to 4/71.57 to win this season's Premier League title, with Man City drifting to 7/24.50, having been 11/102.11 earlier this week.

Sunday 20 September - Man City join Arsenal at head of Premier League Winner market

Manchester City are joint favourites at 11/102.11 to win the Premier League title after an entertaining 5-3 home win over Sunderland moved them three points clear of main market rivals Arsenal, who can also be backed at 11/102.11.

City shortened to 5/42.25 on Saturday after the Gunners lost their first game of the season, and they were clipped again today after their win over the Black Cats.

Sunday 20 September - First Gunners defeat sees Man City shorten for title while winless Spurs 10/1 to be relegated

Arsenal have drifted out from 4/61.67 to 1/12.00 to win the Premier League title after suffering their first defeat of the season in a 3-0 loss at Brighon.

The Gunners were completely outplayed at the Amex and can have no complaints with the defeat, one which dropped them from top of the table to second on goal difference. In the tea-time kick off newly-promoted Coventry got their first win of the season with a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest. The victory moved the Sky Blues off the bottom of the table, though they are still 8/151.53 in the relegation market.

Brentford have shortened to 5/16.00 to record a Top 4 Finish this season after they comprehensively beat Chelsea 3-0 at the Gtech on Friday night.

Sunday 13 September - Man City stay 100% with victory in Manchester derby

Manchester City are keeping pace with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table after maintaining their 100% record with a controversial 1-0 over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

City had Phil Foden sent off early in the first half after he kicked-out at Bruno Fernandes, though it appeared that the first kick was from Fernandes when Foden had fallen to the floor.

City's winner came on the hours mark when Erling Haaland finished well at the far post, though he appeared to be in an offside position. VAR ruled he was onside, and that Enzo Fernandez, who dived for the ball before it fell to Haaland, had not impacted on any of the United players.

Man City remain second in the table only on goal difference and can be backed at 9/43.25 for the title, behind Arsenal at 4/61.67.

Man Utd meanwhile are 13th in the table on four points, and they have drifted to 15/82.88 to record a Top 4 Finish this season.

Earlier in the day Brighton thrashed Coventry 5-0 to move up to fourth in the table, five points behind the Gunners and Citizens. The Sky Blues are rock bottom of the table with four defeats from four games, no goals scored and a -10 goal difference.

Sunday 13 September - Arsenal shortest price of season so far at 8/13

Defending champions Arsenal have been cut to 8/131.61 to win the Premier League title - their shortest price of the season so far - after an ill-tempered 2-0 win at Sunderland.

In a game that saw nine yellow cards brandished (two resulting in a red), including one for a furious Mikel Arteta, the Gunners had goalkeeper David Raya to thank just before the hour mark when he brilliantly tipped Enzo le Fee's penalty on to the post.

And just two minutes later Arsenal took the lead when former Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes stunned the Black Cats with a sensational curling shot from 20 yards that found the top corner.

Bukayo Saka scored a penalty with virtually the last kick of the game to seal the victory, meaning it's four league wins from four for the Gunners this season, moving them three points clear before Sunday's games.

Sunderland shortened from 3/14.00 to 5/23.50 to be relegated after the game.

In the tea-time kick-off Tottenham's goalless run continued when they could only draw 0-0 at home to Everton. The Lilywhites have now gone four Premier League games on the spin without scoring, and they currently sit 17th in the table, a position they've occupied at the end of the last two campaigns.

Chelsea's hopes of winning the Premier League title took another dent when they could manage just a 2-2 draw at home to early-season surprise package Hull City at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues look excellent going forward but they continue to ship goals with regularity, with the nine goals conceded so far being the third highest in the Premier League.

Xabi Alonso's men are fourth in the table on seven points, but they've drifted out to 11/112.00 to win the title.

Another team on the drift in the Premier League winner market is Liverpool, who were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to winless Fulham. The Reds are now 16/117.00 to win the title.

Sunday 6 September - Arsenal cut to 8/11 for title afer win over Chelsea

Arsenal have shortened to 8/111.73 to win the Premier League title after beating one of their main market rivals, Chelsea, 2-1 in a thrilling end-to-end game at the Emirates Stadium.

The Blues became the first team in Premier League history to score inside five minutes in their first three games when Morgan Rogers volleyed home from outside of the box in the second minute.

But the Gunners responded brilliantly and deservedly equalised midway through the second half when Kai Havertz finished neatly at the near post.

Arsenal flew out of the blocks in the second half scored what ultimately would be the winner through Martin Odegaard bursting through the centre and smashing home from close range.

Sunday 6 September - Man City top after making it three wins from three

Manchester City are 5/23.50 to win the Premier League title following a narrow 1-0 win over newly-promoted Coventry, a result that sent them top of the table.

And following Hull City's 0-0 draw later in the day, the Citizens are the only team with a 100% winning record after three games, though they will be joined by Arsenal or Chelsea should there be a winner in the Super Sunday game.

Tuesday 25 August - Front three impress as Chelsea beat Fulham

Chelsea's new-look attack of Morgan Rogers, Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer impressed as the Blues opened the season with three points thanks to a 3-2 win over West London rivals Fulham on Monday night.

All three got on the scoresheet while Pedro and Palmer also both registered an assist, and while the Blues didn't look rock solid at the back, it was evident that going forward Chelsea will be a force to be reckoned with this season.

Sunday 23 August - City 3/1 for title after comeback win and Villa suffer a hiding

Manchester City are 3/14.00 to win the Premier League title after a late comeback win over Bournemouth on Super Sunday.

In City's first league game in the post-Pep Guardiola era new manager Enzo Maresca named a starting XI that included six recognised defenders, and for much of the game they looked disjointed with the Cherries leading 1-0.

But substitute Rayan Cherki turned the game late on with two assists, and goals for Marc Guehi and Josko Gvardiol - the latter coming in stoppage time - sealed the three points for the hosts.

In Sunday's other games Aston Villa received a hammering at Brighton, going down 4-0 (all four goals were scored in the first half) and having a man sent off, while Liverpool rescued a point with a 96th minute penalty away at Newcastle.

Both Manchester United and Tottenham suffered embarrassing defeats on the first weekend of the new Premier League season, meaning they have already drifted in various Betfair Sportsbook markets.
