Just one win in 10 for Slovenia but they're ever so slight favourites at 31/202.55 to beat Scotland, who are 17/102.70 when returning to action following their World Cup adventures to start life with new boss Sebastien Pocognoli.

There's no Benjamin Sesko for Slovenia, which weakens further what was a pretty anaemic attack during World Cup qualifying. Scotland's games have hardly been filled with goals either, so I haven't got this down as an entertaining watch.

What I have got it down as is a draw, which is Slovenia's speciality with games ending level seven times out of their last nine outings.

This is Iceland's first campaign down in League C and they're huge 1/41.25 favourites despite not being in great form at all - just one win in 10 and even at home in Reykjavik they've won just once in five.

Estonia have come in the opposite direction having been promoted but the 19/210.50 shots here struggle at this level - winning just two of 20 - and although Iceland's results haven't been great, performances have been decent at times against top tier sides.

They drew 2-2 with France at home, and only lost 2-1 away, while they won comfortably twice (0-2 & 5-0) against an Azerbaijan side ranked one place above Estonia. This should be something similar.

Thomas Tuchel's redemption bid has either the best or worst possible start depending on how you look at it - as World Cup winners Spain are obviously the toughest draw around, but a good display by the 7/42.75 Three Lions will renew hope he's the man for the job.

The 7/52.40 Spanish are on an unreal run, going 38 games with defeat in 90 minutes, but England at home have won 10 of the past 11 and overall these are evenly matched side. The 5/23.50 draw looks well in play.

And we could be in for quite a game if Spain continue to play a lot freer in this competition as they have done - their last five have seen both teams score 2+ goals and it's 4/15.00 for that run to continue, which when there's not much between the sides who both have plenty of attacking talent it just might be the value bet of the match.

Czechia v Croatia Tip - Czechs to grind out a draw

Czechia have lost Patrik Shick to retirement and that'll badly hamper their chances here, after exiting the World Cup scoring just twice, scoring goals just got a bit harder for the 21/103.10 outsiders here, Luka Modric just refuses to retire even at 41 and his Croatia side are 11/102.11 favourites to start his latest campaign with a win.

It's almost four years to the day since the Czechs last lost at home, a run which includes a 0-0 draw with Croatia last October, and although facing mainly much lesser opposition that confidence at home counts for a lot. There should be enough energy and excitement from the home fans to help the hosts to a point.

North Macedonia are winless in eight, but at home in Skopje they're unbeaten in 11 and have pulled off draws against the likes of England, Belgium and Italy over the last few years. They're still 13/27.50 underdogs though but with four draws in five the 7/24.50 on the draw looks interesting.

As Switzerland may be 1/31.33 but their away form has been littered with draws as well recently - and with both teams not exactly prolific there shouldn't be too many goals. But we'll take the extra quality the Swiss have to help them pinch it.

Slovakia v Moldova Tip - Back handicap win for the hosts

It's 15 games without a win for Moldova and 14/115.00 on them ending that run in Slovakia, where the hosts are 2/111.18 favourites and should be aiming for a comfortable win. Moldova have conceded 2+ goals in all 11 defeats in their recent run while the hosts have scored at least twice in six of seven.

That's a tough combination for the visitors, who seem likely to suffer a sizeable defeat.
