Sam Turner is an award-winning journalist with more than three decades of experience in the racing industry.
He began his career in 1990s with BBC Ceefax before joining the Midlands News Association, winning the Racing Post Naps Table in 2002.
After a short spell with the ill-fated Sportsman newspaper, Sam joined the Daily Mail as the paper’s lead tipster Robin Goodfellow, a role he occupied for 17 years winning five Press Challenges before leaving the paper in July 2023 to head to Dubai as the Editor for the region’s horse racing magazine, Adiyat Racing+.
Sam returned to the UK last autumn when the Dubai Racing Club made the surprise decision to close Adiyat and since then has resumed his long-standing association with Racing TV, covering the sport at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals among others.
