But he's not a Blackburn fan and is in fact more Man United than Gary Neville's cat. He has interviewed everyone Joseph Heller to Peter Shilton and worked as a news reporter, books and music critic. His heroes are Marcel Proust and Alex Ferguson. He thinks they would have got on.
