The teams drew 2-2 at Old Trafford but, even before that unexpected result, there were reasons to consider backing the draw at Elland Road on Sunday. Manchester United, for all that they have made progress under Erik ten Hag, have taken just one point from their last two on the road.

They are without Casemiro again, as he serves the second of his three match ban, and he leaves a big hole in the Red Devils' midfield. The man who replaced the Brazilian on Wednesday, Marcel Sabitzer, may struggle in the hostile atmosphere of a roses derby.

Leeds lost this fixture 4-2 last season but haven't lost consecutive home league games to United since 1976. The hosts have won just one of their last eight Premier League home matches but we think they can take something from this one and are backing goals at both ends.

At the end of a difficult week, which saw Pep Guardiola shorten in the next manager to leave betting, Manchester City aim to return to winning ways after their defeat to Tottenham.

Fortunately for the champions, they host Aston Villa, a team City have beaten the last 12 times they have met in Manchester in the Premier League. City tend to respond well to deafeat as you have to go back to December 2018 for the last time they lost two in a row in the league.

Last season, this finished 3-2 on the final day, with City coming from 2-0 down to secure the title. The teams drew 1-1 at Villa Park in September.

Unai Emery has won all three of his away games since taking charge at Villa. In 12 attemtps, however, he has never beaten Guardiola (L8D4).

Erling Haaland failed to register a shot against Spurs but that will make him even more determined to score here. Back him for a brace at least.
