Spurs sit in their familiar 17th spot with precious little to cheer about. The Lilywhites have scored no Premier League goals and picked up just two points from two 0-0 draws - as many as they had in 181 league games previously. Just two wins in 20 home league games is such a poor return, but at least they scored at Anfield in midweek and looked lively at times - their 2.32 xG just for that game was enormous considering they're at 3.45 xG through four games in the league.
The only team with a worse xG in the Premier League this season is? Yep, Aston Villa! So already the 21/103.10 on under 2.5 goals stands out in this one as with both sides struggling the first goal if it comes could be huge. It's even more important for Spurs at home so Roberti Di Zerbi's side just can't afford to concede first as the crowd will just sink.
Spurs are 1/12.00 favourites but Unai Emery knows if 27/103.70 Villa score first it'll be tough for the hosts. It's a big game for both and since neither have shown too many cohesive attacking signs then a draw will do for me here.
Can top scorers Brighton open up this mean old Arsenal defence? The Gunners have conceded just twice in their current nine-game winning run and plenty of away games have been grinding out wins like those at Villa, Napoli and Sunderland already this season.
Battering struggling Coventry & Villa could flatter Brighton's goalscoring prowess somewhat, but they're still expected to find the net here as it's 4/61.67 on both teams score. And there could be goals early at the Amex with seven of Brighton's last eight at home seeing a goal inside 20 minutes.
Don't be surprised to see a penalty given here at 6/42.50 after Mikel Arteta's rant at Sunderland, and look for Brighton to at least test David Raya, as they've had 5+ shots on target in all four games so far. But you have to back the Gunners and instead of gambling on Brighton finding the net or not I'd rather chance Bukayo Saka to get his regular goal at the Amex - for the fourth game running!
Back Saka to score and Arsenal win
Just one Everton win but they're unbeaten and David Moyes is drilling that 'hard to beat' mentality into them, as evidenced by two dramatic late goals to salvage draws alongside two hard working clean sheets. They're 3/41.75 here to win for just the second time in six at the Hill Dickinson.
Keeping a clean sheet is one thing Ipswich can't do - they've played some good stuff under Gary O'Neil and with two wins they're already halfway to their total of four from their disastrous last season in the Premier League. So they're 7/24.50 to pick up another three points but have a puncher's chance the way they're going about things.
Everton should be too strong and the fact they could try and nullify Ipswich's attacking style steers me away from goals, but there should be a few shots and both the dangerous Zion Fleming and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall average almost a shot and a half on target per game so far.
Back Everton win, Fleming and Dewsbury-Hall 1+ shot on target
A few might be tempted by the 4/15.00 on unbeaten Hull as they head to Newcastle, who were thumped 4-1 at Leeds on Monday, on the back of the Tigers' stunning start to the season including that fine 2-2 draw at Chelsea last time out.
Hull haven't had more than 32% possesion in a game so far and only Villa have had fewer shots, but they've been clinical with theirs while limiting the quality of chances to the opposition. Newcastle have only had one more shot themselves with 39 to Hull's 38 and in fact had fewer shots on target (13-15) and that's a bad combination with allowing the most shots in the league so far (76) and second-most shots on target (24).
So they're uneasy favourites in my eyes at 6/101.60 and if they give Hull the same 2-0 start they handed Bournemouth I'm not sure the Tigers would throw that away. I've got this as a low-scoring draw but I'll just take the stalemate and double it up with a cards bet.
Newcastle's run of the last seven home games seeing 4+ cards shown should be comfortably maintained here by two of the top offenders in the league. The bet I like here though is each team to get 2+ cards at 13/82.63 as they've both hit that in every game so far, with Newcastle averaging just under three a game and Hull just over.
Back the draw and each team 2+ cards
You've got to fear for Coventry already having become just the second Premier League side ever to be winless and goalless after four games - and they're getting a Forest side just finding its feet under Oliver Glasner after bagging a first win last week at Villa.
Forest are 6/101.60 and well worth it really going on form - the controversial draw at Anfield kick-started their season and they looked more organised and indeed dangerous at Villa. Liam Delap getting off the mark was another positive.
The City Ground doesn't see a lot of goals, with 11 of the last 12 in the league going under 2.5 and knowing Glasner they won't give Coventry anything, similar to how they played against Spurs in the 0-0. Only this time they'll have enough cutting edge to get the three points.
Back Forest to win to nil
