Premier League final day tips and predictions

(All matches kick-off at 16:00)

Tottenham v Everton: Back Spurs to seal survival with draw

Dave Tindall: Backing Spurs at odds-on doesn't seem a great idea given that they haven't won a home league game since early Decemeber! That's a 10-match stretch. They're 9/10 for the win, with Everton 29/10.

It's hard to think how this won't be nerve-shredding for Tottenham and having finished all-square in their last two home games, The Draw looks the best bet here at 13/5. A couple of scenarios help such a bet.

If the Hammers are losing late on, Spurs will be happy enough to see things out if their game is level. And if West Ham are winning, Tottenham will be hanging on for dear life for the draw rather than pushing for a winner.

The Toffees have drawn two of their last three on the road and it would be three except for conceding a last-gasp strike at West Ham.

West Ham v Leeds Utd: Lay the hosts

Kevin Hatchard: Motivation is doing way too much heavy lifting in the Match Odds market here, with West Ham 1.9 on the Exchange to win the game. The Hammers have lost three in a row, they have won just three of their last 13 competitive matches, and Leeds dumped them out of the FA Cup at the London Stadium as recently as last month.

Are we truly to believe that West Ham will win the game just because they need to? What happens if Spurs race into an early lead against Everton, crushing West Ham's hopes? The atmosphere could quickly turn toxic, and I just can't see Leeds letting up if they didn't against Spurs or Brighton.

Fulham v Newcastle: Alan Shearer's prediction

Alan Shearer: The noise has just quietened down for Newcastle having put a few wins together and that's what happened last weekend and they got a good reception. Eddie did walk around the pitch after the game.

Newcastle seem to enjoy going to Fulham. The fans love going to Fulham. So, I'm gonna go for an away win.

Alan's Prediction:Newcastle Win

Crystal Palace v Arsenal: Back few cards as champions celebrate

Mark O'Haire: Both Crystal Palace and Arsenal will have very little interest in their MD38 fixture with much bigger fish to fry in the next seven days. The Eagles are involved in their first-ever European final on Wednesday night, whilst the Gunners are fresh from securing title honours and only six days out from the Champions League finale.

Players will be eager to avoid injury and so it's difficult to see either side producing the aggression required to rack up a high card count here. Farai Hallam has the whistle - the arbiter has produced card hauls of 4-2-3-3 in the EPL and has given a maximum of one card in four Championship outings already this term - he's not prone to big totals.

It's worth noting, Arsenal are the cleanest team in the top-flight and the last two meetings with Palace have produced just one booking and so I'm happy to oppose cards here with Under 1.5 Cards trading at [23/20] on the Betfair Sportsbook.

Nottm Forest v Bournemouth: Back Kroupi in 100/1 goalscorer acca

Lewis Jones: When thinking about betting on Bournemouth, it's impossible not to focus on Junior Kroupi.

At [9/2] to fire first, the price looks generous considering the level he's operating at right now. His winner against Arsenal wasn't just another goal - it underlined what an extraordinary debut Premier League season he's producing.

Thirteen league goals as a teenager is remarkable company to keep. In fact, only Lamine Yamal has scored more goals as a teenager across Europe's major leagues this season. That tells you everything about the scale of Kroupi's emergence.

Man City v Aston Villa: Back goals and a home win in Pep's farewell

The Opta Stat: Man City have won their final league match in eight of their nine seasons under Pep Guardiola, losing the other at Brentford in 2022-23. The Citizens have won their last six when finishing the season at home since a 3-2 loss to Norwich City in 2012-13. Aston Villa have lost their final Premier League match of the season more often than any other side (16), including a 3-2 loss at Manchester City in 2021-22.

Sunderland v Chelsea: Goals expected to cap great season for Black Cats

Jimmy The Punt: Sunderland still have a chance of qualifying for Europe, basically they need to win and hope certain results go their way.

Having built their impressive campaign largely on their form at the Stadium of Light, the Black Cats have lost four of their last six on their own patch (W1 D1).

At the prices available, goals have to be the way in once again.

Sunderland's grip on games has loosened a little recently with a four, a five and a seven goal games across their last five.

In the four games under Calum McFarlane, both teams to score has clicked three times for Chelsea, overs twice with one four-goal game.

This will be the final game of the caretaker manager's second stint in the hotseat and I think the Blues boys will cut loose.

Serie A tip and prediction

19:45 - Torino v Juventus: Back hosts in Turin derby

Kevin Hatchard: In the musical chairs race for Champions League qualification, Juventus are in serious danger of being without a seat when the music stops. A frankly disastrous 2-0 home defeat against Fiorentina, coupled with wins for Milan and Roma, means Luciano Spalletti's Bianconeri are sixth going into the final round of matches.

That means Juve must win at city rivals Torino and hope that either Milan or Roma slip up. Given that Juve have embarked upon a costly run of one victory in four matches, getting that derby win will be easier said than done.

12th-placed Torino have nothing to play for, but Roberto D'Aversa's men have been on a stunning run of results in Turin. They have racked up four wins and a draw from the last five home matches, and their last home defeat was in mid-February.

Juventus are without key centre-back Bremer because of suspension, and they are in poor form at the worst possible time. We can back Torino +1.0 on the Asian Handicap here at 2.32, and we'd only lose our stake if the home side lose by two goals or more. Torino have only lost by multiple goals at home three times in the league this season, and the last of those was against Roma back in the middle of January.
