Manchester City v Arsenal: Back Rodri and Havertz to be booked at 14/1

Man City midfielder Rodri
Rodri is a strong contender to be booked on Sunday

Cards are expected in Sunday's huge clash between two title rivals, and Tipman Tips have a boosted 14/1 double for you to consider...

Leg 1 - Back Rodri to be booked

Spain and Manchester City star Rodri is probably the first name on Pep Guardiola's team sheet here as he looks to extend his unbeaten run in a Manchester City shirt to 64 games.

Rodri has featured in 25 Premier League games so far this season for Pep's title chasing side, and has received nine yellow cards and one red so far. Rodri has received a card every 217 minutes in the league putting him in the 93rd percentile for cards per minute played.

He averages 1.33 fouls committed per game and his fouled 1.04 times per game. This is playing for a City side that are usually dominant in possession playing as big favourites and not often under pressure themselves, however it won't be as easy this week for City playing against league leaders Arsenal who are flying and very high in confidence.

Rodri will likely play a deeper role with Kevin De Bruyne back in the side, and his defensive duties will be called upon to prevent Arsenal counter attacks.

Rodri was booked 12 months ago when the sides met in the Premier League at the Etihad when City won 4-1.

Leg 2 - Back Kai Havertz to be booked

Arsenal and Germany star Kai Havertz is in great form and will expect to retain his place playing as a false forward for Mikel Arteta's title chasing side.

Havertz has played a huge role for Arsenal's league campaign this season with 11 goal involvements in 27 appearances. He also scored last week when Germany beat France 2-0 so will be high on confidence going into this huge fixture.

He has received 10 cards for Arsenal this season with seven of those coming in the League. He averages a booking every three games and is in the 83rd percentile in the league for cards per minute played.

Havertz averages 1.57 fouls committed per game and is fouled 1.67 times per game showing he is always in the thick of the action.

Havertz was shown the yellow card when the sides met in August in the Community Shield at Wembley.

The match official - Michael Oliver

The man in the middle of Sunday's huge Premier League game in the title race is Anthony Taylor.

Taylor is averaging a league high of 5.3 cards per game shown in his 20 Premier League games so far this season whilst awarding an average of 22 fouls per game.

Taylor was the referee when Arenal faced Liverpool last month and he awarded nine yellows and one red card, including a booking for Kai Havertz. Taylor also booked Rodri when City drew 4-4 with Chelsea back in November.
