United odds-on to sign Hojlund as Onana talks continue

Manchester United are moving closer to signing Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana and are odds-on to buy striker Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.

The Danish forward is 4/111.36 to make the move to the Premier League club this summer. He and Onana both played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax.

Juventus 11/26.50 and Bayer Munich 15/28.50 are also interested in Hojlund but the odds and reports today indicate that United are in pole position.

Mason Mount joined the Red Devils this week and further arrivals look likely as they ramp up their summer business.

Ten Hag wants to end the uncertainty about the goalkeeping position at United and bring in a striker. However, he has to do so on a budget of around £120m, so players will probably have to leave.

Scott McTominay is 2/13.00 to join Newcastle but moving Harry Maguire on could be difficult and the out of favour defender is 8/151.53 to stay.

De Gea stay 8/15 but move can't be ruled out

David de Gea is out of contract at United after 12 years with the club. He is 8/151.53 to re-sign, following reports that talks will resume between United and the Spaniard's representatives.

A move away from United canot be ruled out, however, with any Saudi club and Bayern Munich both 10/34.33 options.

Ten Hag's patience with De Gea may be wearing thin after the goalkeeper's mistakes in the FA Cup final against Manchester City and Champions League second leg against Sevilla.
