Joško Gvardiol 1/25 for Man City

Manchester City seem to be on the verge of signing Croatian defender Joško Gvardiol from RB Leipzig with the odds on him joining Pep Guardiola's side now 1/251.04.

Despite winning the Treble last season, Guradiola and co are looking to strengthen their back line in light of John Stones' move into midfield toward the back end of last season.

They do still have Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake, Manuel Akanji and Aymeric Laporte on the books, though the latter has been linked with a move away, and played no part in the UEFA Champions League final.

Chelsea 18/119.00 are next in line to swoop in for Gvardiol, who had a deal agreed with RBL last summer for £90m, though that fell through at the final stages.

Gvardiol would go on to celebrate the domestic cup triumph in the DFB-Pokal last season, though they now look to set to lose a third different key player, with Christopher Nkunku joining Chelsea, and Dominik Szoboszlai moving to Liverpool.
