Betting suspended on Harvey Barnes to join Newcastle

Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes looks set to join Newcastle with the Betfair Sportsbook suspending betting on the potential move.

As mentioned in a tweet by Fabrizio Romano, Barnes is keen on a move to the Magpies while boss Eddie Howe is also a big admirer of the 25-year-old.

Newcastle are looking to build a big enough squad to be able to compete in both the Premier League and Champions League this season after they recorded a top four finish last term.

Barnes would become the Magpies' second major signing of the summer window after the arrival of midfielder Sandro Tonali from AC Milan for £55m earlier this week.

Howe's men are 14/115.00 to win the Premier League title this season, and they're 13/82.63 to record a Top 4 Finish.
