Tipman Tips' Premier League Booking Double: Back Lodi and Partey at a boosted 18/1

Partey & Lodi in action for Ahleti
Partey & Lodi were teammates at Atleti

Tipman Tips have looked through the sides to find the two players most likely to be booked at the City Ground on Saturday to find a boosted double...

  • Lodi racking up the yellows with two in two

  • Parety booked as a sub last week and set to be recalled

  • Back the boosted double at 18/1

Renan Lodi to be booked

Brazilian full-back Renan Lodi looks set to start his 31st game for Nottingham Forest and is in great form heading into this game with Forest picking up seven points from their last four games, as they continue their fight for Premier League survival.

Arsenal's title push looks all but over with City just needing one win from their final three games, but they will not want to roll over and will play for pride; the pressure may also be off them a little now too.

We are in for a great game here at the City Ground regardless.

Lodi has featured heavily this season for Steve Cooper after signing from Atletico Madrid last summer, forcing himself into the lineup after an inconsitent start.

Lodi has picked up seven cards in 26 Premier League games this season, including one on each of his last two. The left back commits an average of 1.2 fouls per game and is himself fouled 1.66 times per game.

If Arsenal line up as expected Lodi could be in for a tough game trying to contain Saka who is up the top of the list when it comes to drawing cards from opposition players.

7/2 is great value here even as a single.

Thomas Partey to be booked

Arsenal's Thomas Partey looks set to be recalled to the starting line-up after not picking up many minutes in the last few games.

Arsenal have been struggling with injuries and fatigue, whilst their defeat last week should be the catalyst for some rotation here.

Partey has been heavily involved this season for Arsenal however with 40 appearances and has picked up five Premier League bookings in 31 games, including one in his 35 minute cameo in that defeat to Brighton.

Partey commits an average of 1.4 fouls per game but will be called upon heavily to stop Forest's fast counter attacking football set from Morgan Gibbs-White and Brennan Johnson.

The Ghanaian has picked up three yellow cards in his previous 293 minutes - averaging a card ever 97 minutes - so if he is called upon here he will be a firm favourite to receive a card.

The match official - Anthony Taylor

Anthony Taylor is the man in the middle in this big Premier League clash and averages four cards per game - higher than the current league average.

Both sides average 4.34 cards per game, considerably higher than the league average of 3.8 and if the pattern continues, this game could see a high numbr of bookings, only increasing our chances.

This is a huge game at both ends of the table featuring two sides still with targets on the line. No matter the scoreline, emotions are set to run high here and i see the individual battles alone making for a highly competetive game.

Anthony Taylor only enhances our chances. We could be in for a great game.
