Everton have lost their last four Premier League games against Aston Villa and, perhaps more importantly, the Toffees showed few signs of having moved on from last season's difficulties in defeat to Fulham last weekend.
Interestingly, Everton had an xG of 2.73 in their 1-0 defeat to Fulham, their second-highest expected goals total in the Premier League under Sean Dyche. But The Toffees lack a cutting edge and, although Villa conceded five at Newcastle in their opening match, Unai Emery should ensure they tighten up this weekend.

Aston Villa ended last season on a seven-game home winning run in the Premier League, so Villa Park is becoming something of a fortress. I'll take them to win comfortably here and back them with the -1 goal handicap. Ollie Watkins, who has thrived under Emery, is backed to score any time.
Both teams drew their opening matches 1-1 last weekend and this fixture finished by that scoreline last season. Should we back the draw then? I prefer to keep the away win onside and think Chelsea showed enough against Liverpool to suggest that they are already moving in the right direction under Mauricio Pochettino.
The Hammers were eight minutes from an away win at Bournmeouth last weekend and David Moyes will have been encouraged by the performance, following a difficult summer season that saw rumours that he would leave. The arrival of James Ward-Prowse from Southampton should help too. Chelsea, meanwhile, could give a debut to Moises Caicedo in their midfield.
Moyes has never beaten Pochettino in the Premier League in five attempts (D4 L1) and that could be significant because it can be different for a manager to break that kind of pattern against an opponent.
Ben Chilwell created Chelsea's goal against Liverpool and had one of his own disallowed. The new manager clearly regards the England full-back as a key attacking outlet.
