FA Cup Final Superboost

In what is a repeat of the 2023 FA Cup Final, the two halves of Manchester collide once again at Wembley on Saturday, in what could be Erik Ten Hag's final match in charge of the Red Devils.

Pep Gurdiola's Man City are looking for a domestic double following yet another Premier League crown and are buoyed by the fact they did the league double over their rivals this season.

An FA Cup Final calls for an epic Betfair Superboost this weekend, and we are heading to Bruno Fernandes to come up with the goods for us this time out due to his foul count. Captain Bruno averages 2.0 foul involvements per game this season (fouls committed + to be fouled) whilst he has both committed and has been fouled in each of his last two games, and in three of his last five.

Indeed, if we look at the FA Cup and Wembley specifically, this has landed in four of his five appearances in the competition, and, in three of his last four outings at Wembley.

One of which was in this exact fixture against Manchester City last season.

He has either committed (21) or has been fouled (12) 33 times in his last 10 Manchester derbies, managing both in 70% of those games (7/10).

Punters backed the Portuguese to make an unexpected return to Stamford Bridge nine years after he ended his second stint their in 2015.

On Friday, a whopping 65% of bets in the market were on a third Mourinho era in west London.

The 61-year-old was previously Chelsea manager from 2004 to 2007 and won the Premier League title twice in his first reign and once in his second under then owner Roman Abramovich.

Mourinho left Roma at the beginning of this year, after a two-and-a-half spell which saw him guide them to Europa Conference League glory, and has said he wants to return to management this summer.

Maresca favourite for Chelsea job

Chelsea have vowed to make a swift appointment after Mauricio Pochettino left the club following one season in charge this week.

Leicester boss Enzo Maresca 13/82.63 is the favourite after guiding them to promotion to the Premier League in his first season in charge.

Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna 9/43.25, who also achieved promotion from the Championship this season, is another who is believed to be in contention for the job.

He is also of interest to Brighton at 7/24.50 and could be considered by Manchester United if they decide to ditch Erik ten Hag after tomorrow's FA Cup final.

Ruben Amorim 7/24.50 also has admirers at Stamford Bridge after his work with Sporting Lisbon but the Portuguese is becoming something of an ever-present in manager vacancy betting, having previously been linked with West Ham and Liverpool.

One other line of manager news today is that Xavi has been sacked by Barcelona. Ex-Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick is reportedly going to succeed the Spaniard.
