Reds odds-on for EFL glory after beating Barca
Manchester United will follow last night's victory over Barcelona in the Europa League by winning Sunday's EFL Cup final and lifting their first trophy for six years, according to the Betfair Exchange odds.
The Red Devils are 1.618/13 in the EFL Cup outright winner market but you can still back them at 2.226/5 in the match odds (to win in 90 minutes). Their opponents Newcastle are 3.711/4 and it is 3.4549/20 that extra-time will be needed at Wembley.
Erik ten Hag's men, who came from a goal down to beat Barcelona 2-1 on an exhilarating night at Old Trafford, are 175/1 to complete an historic quadruple by winning the EFL Cup, Europa League, FA Cup and Premier League.
If they do that then one Betfair punter in particular will be cock-a-hoop for reasons we explained in the Man Utd odds update earlier this week, below.
And United get the endorsement of expert tipster Mark O'Haire for Europa League success...
£62,000+ potential pay-out on the cards
Manchester United are 250/1 to win an unprecedented quadruple that would see 69 punters, who have backed them, scoop big money.
They are the only English top flight club still in four competitions and, at the start of a massive week for the 20-time Premier League champions, the price on them winning them all has shortened.
Thirteen bettors backed United's quadruple when it was 2500/1 on Betfair and, as the Reds found form, more got on board and the price shortened to its current 250/1.
The largest potential payout comes from a £25 stake, with one Betfair punter looking at a return of £62,525!
Reds 7/1 for cup double at start of big week
United are 7/1 to complete a League Cup and Europa League double this season as they embark on the biggest week of their season so far.
On Thursday, they play Barcelona in the second leg of their Europa League tie, with the aggregate score 2-2 after the pulsating first leg. United are 1.728/11 to qualify.
We'll have a match preview with the best bets for the big night at Old Trafford.
Then on Sunday, United will try to win their first major trophy since 2017 when they take on Newcastle in the League Cup final.
Erik ten Hag's men are 1.625/8 to lift the trophy and the Magpies are 2.588/5.
United previously won an EFL Cup and Europa League double in Jose Mourinho's first season at Old Trafford in 2017.
Since then they have won nothing and it has been a tough few years for Reds fans.
The sublime form of Marcus Rashford, the shrewd acquisition of Casemiro and manager Erik ten Hag's ability to make big calls and get them right, has fuelled fans' growing belief that their club is truly back.
They are still in the FA Cup and will play West Ham next Wednesday in the FA Cup fifth round.
United 14/1 for Premier League title
Quite a few bettors agree that United are a force that can once again challenge for the biggest prizes.
With Arsenal and Manchester City both dropping points in recent weeks, United are within five points of the top of the Premier League table, albeit having played a game more than the Gunners.
At the start of the season, Ten Hag's goal was to finish in the top four and, with 15 games to go, they are 1.171/6 to achieve that.
It is probably premature to talk about them challenging for the title, and their squad still needs strengthening.
However, if you think United can pull off an upset and leapfrog Manchester City and Arsenal to win the Premier League title then you can back Ten Hag's team at 15.014/1 on the Betfair Exchange.
