Serie A Tips: Napoli can get new boss off to flying 4/1 start

Cagliari v Napoli (Sunday, 14:00)

Napoli will be looking for their first win under their third manager of this season, when they travel to Cagliari on Sunday.

The reigning Serie A champions have sacked Walter Mazzarri and replaced him with the Slovakia manager Francesco Calzona. He has guided that nation to Euro 2024 and has previously worked at Napoli under both Maurizio Sarri and Luciano Spalletti. In his first match in charge, a Victor Osimhen goal secured a 1-1 draw against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Inter can take another huge step towards winning Serie A with a victory at Lecce.

Unbeaten in 18 Serie A games (W15 D3), they come into this match off the back of a 1-0 win against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League this week.

Lecce could easily get sucked into a relegation fight, having lost seven of their last nine matches (W1 D1). An Inter win and Lautaro Martinez to score has landed in four of their last six league games and can be backed at 5/42.25.

AC Milan v Atalanta (Sunday, 19:45)

Sunday's Serie A action concludes with third placed AC Milan taking on an Atalanta side in fourth.

Milan are in a strong position to secure Champions League qualification again, but Atalanta have a fight on their hands, with a number of clubs looking to chase them down. Yet it is Milan who are struggling for form, having been beaten 4-2 at Monza last weekend and then being defeated 3-2 at Rennes in the Europa League.

In contrast, Atalanta are unbeaten in nine (W8 D1), which includes a 2-1 win against Milan in the Coppa Italia. Yet with Milan having home advantage, it might be best to avoid the result. Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals looks nailed on at 4/51.80.

Fiorentina v Lazio (Monday, 19:45)

Two of the teams that will consider themselves still to have a chance of qualifying for the Champions League meet on Monday, when Fiorentina host Lazio.

It is Lazio that are currently closest to those qualifying spots, five points behind in seventh place. They have won six of their last ten league games (D1 L3), beating the teams that you would expect them to, but falling short against the likes of Inter, Napoli, Atalanta and Bologna.

Fiorentina are eighth and seven points away from the Champions League places. They are in poor form, with just one win from their last nine games across all competitions (D3 L5), but rarely lose at home. Back Fiorentina double chance, both teams to score and under 3.5 goals at 13/53.60.
