Roma's form continues

Roma pulled off a surprise in the first-leg of this Europa League quarter-final tie, by winning 1-0 at the San Siro.

It extended their unbeaten run to four games (W3 D1), during which Daniele De Rossi's side have not conceded a goal. When you consider that their most recent loss came against Brighton in this competition, having beaten them at home 4-0, their form is even more impressive. They have only lost twice in 16 matches under De Rossi (W11 D3), with Inter being the only other side to have beaten them.

Roma have been in action since beating Milan, having faced Udinese over the weekend. The game was suspended in the 72nd minute with the score at 1-1, after the Roma defender Evan Ndicka collapsed on the pitch. Chris Smalling is likely to replace Ndicka, while Bryan Cristante will be missing through suspension.

Despite winning the first encounter and having home advantage, Roma are out at 9/52.80 to win. A draw would be enough to see them through and is priced at 23/103.30.

Milan favourites

AC Milan have it all to do when they travel to the Stadio Olimpico.

A run of hot form came to an end with that defeat against Roma. Milan had won their previous seven games and were scoring goals for fun. They have subsequently faltered away at Sassuolo in Serie A. Stefano Pioli's side had to fight back from being 3-1 down to draw 3-3 against a Sassuolo team that are currently in the relegation zone.

Milan will take heart from the fact that they have twice beaten Roma in the league this season. They won 2-1 in the capital back in September and then defeated Roma 3-1 at the San Siro in January.

Both of these wins came when Jose Mourinho was manager of the hosts and they are a very different side under De Rossi. Nevertheless, the oddsmakers fancy Milan to claim the win they need, with the Rossoneri priced at 7/52.40 to enjoy a victory in regular time.

Value with Roma

With Roma's form and the home advantage, they are expected to process at 4/111.36 in the To Qualify market, with Milan out at 21/103.10.

Those odds of 9/52.80 for Roma to win the match are tempting, considering their recent record. Milan have no choice but to go for it and may well get on the scoresheet this time. You can back a home win and both teams to score at 9/25.50.

For those that are more cautious, combining both teams to score with Roma double chance, pays out at 7/52.40.

Roma have of course been keeping it tight of late. You can combine a home win with under 3.5 goals at 11/43.75, or under 2.5 goals at 5/16.00.

Back Roma to win and both teams to score @ 9/25.50
