Joe Dyer runs through the stories on a dramatic day in the Premier League.
Liverpool were clearly the banker of the day for many a puntertoday as they went off a [1.18] shot on Betfair playing at home to Premier League newcomers, Stoke.
But there was no way through for the home side at Anfield to delight backers of the draw at [7.4]. More than £1,500 was placed on there being one goal or more in the match while a clean sheet for Stoke was backed at [14.0].
In the early kick-off Sunderland were matched at a high of [5.1] in-running on the exchange to beat north-east rivals Middlesbrough today - but they left it late. Two second-half goals from Michael Chopra sealed the three points for Roy Keane's men, denying backers of the draw at 1.49.
Chopra's 92nd minute second rewarded backers of over 1.5 goals at [13.5] (unders laid at [1.07]). The correct score of 2-0 was matched at [48.0].
There was a lone, late goal to break the deadlock at Ewood Park where Blackburn Rovers were backed at a high of [7.0] The draw came in to a low of [1.34].
West Ham dominated Newcastle at the Boelyn Ground. The 3-1 scoreline was backed at [22.5].
