Harry Souttar is generally 12/113.00 to score a header with other firms but the Betfair Sportsbook has him at 11/112.00 to score anytime, which looks big. 

The man-mountain has only had one shot this summer, but has netted 11 times for Australia across 40 caps. That's a goal per 90 average of 0.27 which translates to a price of 27/103.70. 

Souttar could get chances against Egypt. The North African nation has six potential absentees, four of which are defenders which could force Hossam Hassan to field an unfamiliar back four. 

Egypt have only conceded three goals at the finals, one of which coming from a set piece, but a third of the 39 shots they have shipped have come from dead balls, with at least one opposition centre back having at least one shot against them in each fixture.

No side has conceded more expected-goals-against (xGA) from set pieces than Egypt (1.93). Plus, New Zealand's Finn Surman - a central defender - netted against them from a corner.

The draw has put 4/15.00 second favourites Argentina against 500/1501.00 Cape Verde, the joint-longest price of any nation left in the competition. 

Unsurprisingly, they're also the longest price of any side to qualify in this round, currently trading at 15.014/1 on the Exchange.

But I can't help but feel they've been slightly underestimated. 

Bubista's team held antepost joint-favourites Spain to a 0-0 draw in their first game. It was one way traffic, La Roja winning the expected-goals (xG) battle 2.10 - 0.20, but they only had one attempt with an xG value over 0.30. 

The West African islanders then came from behind twice to draw with Uruguay - the South Americans have since completely capitulated - and drew with Saudi Arabia to remain unbeaten in the group stages. 

Defending in an organised 5-3-2 low block, Cape Verde are embracing their status as plucky under-dogs but this resolute defending isn't a new ploy. 

In qualification, they kept clean sheets in 70% of their games as they pipped Cameroon to top spot. 

So, they could certainly frustrate the might of Lionel Messi's Argentina and at 1.981/1 with the Exchange, backing them with a +2.0 headstart on the Asian handicap appeals.

The bet is paid out as a winner if they win, draw or lose by one goal. Stakes are returned if they lose by a two goal margin and the bet loses if they lose by three goals or more. 

It's worth noting the round of 32 has thrown up some shocks, and some near misses for some of the big hitters. 

Brazil needed a last-gasp winner to down Japan. Paraguay knocked out Germany on penalties, albeit they were slightly fortuitous. Morocco were deserved winners against the Netherlands. England left it late against DR Congo and Belgium did the same against Senegal.

As I write, France are the only nation to win by a three or more goal margin in this round of the World Cup as well.  

Argentina were faultless in the group stage, taking maximum points against Algeria, Austria and Jordan but this looks like their toughest test to date. 

Colombia v Ghana - Goals expected

Colombia have averaged 19.7 shots a game this summer. They had 24 against Portugal, 20 against DR Congo and 15 against Uzbekistan. 

They could rack up another high total against Ghana, who are expected to sit deep and invite pressure, but with the South Americans shot prices a little short for my liking, I'll pivot to their individual players. 

Daniel Munoz has averaged 1.5 shots per 90 from full back and he's 17/102.70 with the Sportsbook to have 2+ shots, which is tempting.

But the Crystal Palace-man has scored twice this summer. That's a goals per 90 average of 0.98 and an xG per 90 of 0.37 and even based on the latter, the 6/17.00 available for Munoz to score anytime looks too big to me. 

Jimmy's Acca - Back my 461/1462.00 treble

For the ambitious and the delusional (me), you can combine these three angles (well sort of) at 461/1462.00 with the Sportsbook. You have to switch the Cape Verde handicap for the more risky win-or-draw double chance but with Betfair's Bet £10 Get £10 on ACCAs or bet builders at the World Cup, I think the treble is worth a punt...
