Spain didn't exactly live up to their reputation as ante-post favourites in their opening game of the 2026 World Cup.
Held to a stalemate by international minnows Cape Verde, in a clash where the island off the West Coast of Africa went off 44.043/1 with the Betfair Exchange.
Ferran Torres hit the woodwork and Mikel Oyarzabal had a looping header well saved in quick succession, but those were the only chances of note La Roja conjured up.
They had the lion's share of possession (74%), dominated the territory, outshot the Blue Sharks 27-6, had seven shots on target and 51 touches in the opponents box.
But it was a lot of huffing and puffing in the second half with Cape Verde's keeper putting in a man of the match performance.
That said, we didn't see the real Spain because Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams both started on the bench.
They give their nation an extra dimension with their direct play and speed. Both looked bright off the bench and the pair should start here.
It's why it is hard to make a case for Saudi Arabia.
With Spain needing a result, Yamal should start from the off and his foul drawing ability is what's of interest.
He's averaged 4.8 dribbles a game in all competitions this season and drawn two fouls a game.
Backing th Saudi's left back Moteb Al Harbi to commit 2+ fouls appeals here.

It's fair to say Belgium were second best in their first game against Egypt.
Despite Jeremy Doku's best efforts, he was marked out of the game, and Kevin De Bruyne was the only bright spark in a poor first half showing.
It wasn't until Romelu Lukaku's introduction in the 66th minute that the Red Devils sparked into life, and he had a big say in the equaliser within a minute of coming on.
In the grand scheme of things, a point against the second favourites in Group G was probably a good result but Rudi Garcia's side will need to improve in this game against Iran.
Back to Doku though, he drew six tackles and a foul from Egypt right back Mohamed Hany.
Hany marked him off the park but I think Iran's Ramin Rezaeian could struggle.
Doku's been a nightmare for Premier League full backs in the 25/26 season, so at 21/103.10, Rezaeian's price to be shown a card appeals.
Back Ramin Rezaeian to be shown a card
Cape Verde captured the imagination of the world with their 0-0 draw against the heavily fancied Spain.
The Blue Sharks' stoic showing would have shocked no one from the Island though, it is those sort of gritty performances which saw them qualify for the World Cup ahead of Cameroon.
In 10 games, they kept seven clean sheets and after keeping the best team in Europe at bay in their first game, they'll fancy their chances of escaping Group H.
They take on Uruguay here.
Marcelo Bielsa's side were heavily odds on to beat Saudi Arabia in their first game and failed, but I thought they were impressive.
Their keeper was at fault for Saudi's opener and the South American side smothered them in the second half. They were desperately unlucky not to win.
Two things stood out.
First, the sheer amount of shots they had, 27 in total and 10 on target.
The second was the amount of headed attempts Federico Viñas had. He finished on five shots, all with his noggin and three of them hit the target.
At 5/42.25, his price to have a headed shot on target appeals.
Back Federico Vinas to have 1 or more headed shots on target
Egypt will consider themselves unlucky not to come away with three points after their performance against Belgium.
While they were clinical against the Red Devils, they by no means sat in a low block and clung on for dear life.
The Pharaohs dictated the tempo for an hour, defending tenaciously with Omar Marmoush, Mohamed Salah, Mostafa Zico and Emam Ashour causing some issues in transition.
They shouldn't have too many issues against New Zealand in Vancouver.
The All Whites played their part in an engrossing 2-2 draw with Iran but they are the lowest ranked nation at the World Cup and have had issues finding the net in friendlies against a better calibre of opposition.
At the prices available, Egypt to win to nil appeals.
