Swiss to sharpern up finishing

Thursday 18 June, 20:00 kick-off
Group B
SoFi Stadium Los Angeles
Live on ITV1 & ITVX
Both sides played out 1-1 draws in their opening games, and while both could have won they played in contrasting fashion - with Switzerland dominating Qatar but not taking their chances, while Bosnia sat back against hosts Canada and paid the price.
The Swiss are odds-on favourites at 11/201.55 but they really need to sharpen up on their finishing - having 68% possession, 26 shots, seven on target, six big chances and generating 3.20 xG but coming away with just one goal - and one point.
Bosnia are big outsiders at 11/26.50 and if they play the same way they did against Canada it'll be a similar story for both sides, with Switzerland dominating the ball and Bosnia playing on the break.
They are a tough nut to crack though, with Bosnia unbeaten in nine, but incredibly they've drawn their last six games (after 90 minutes) and with the Swiss now drawing three of their last four then 31/104.10 on a draw here stands out.
Switzerland have also drawn eight of 17 group stage games at major tournaments, winning seven and losing just two - and with Murat Yakin no doubt having his side in for extra finishing practice they should be able to get the job done this time.
These are both funny old teams, Bosnia haven't conceded more than one goal in the last eight games but they also don't score a lot, while Switzerland seem solid but six of their last seven have seen both teams score.
Both teams to score here is 11/102.11 and based mainly on whether Bosnia can generate enough in attack to find a goal. They've not played with much attacking intent but it's there when they try, so I can see them finding the net.
Back Switzerland to win and both teams to score
Back 6/17.00 Bet Builder on forward fouls
Switzerland's shooting was pretty woeful in the first game - Dan Ndoye in particular wasted some glorious chances when he hit the target with just two of his six shots on goal.
Ndoye is 2/13.00 to hit the target twice again, which should be the minimum return if he has the same kidn of opportunities.
Breel Embolo is unsurprisingly the 5/42.25 favourite to score anytime and after the first game is the only player you'll actually trust - even though he only scored a penalty.
Bosnia gave away 20 fouls and got three cards against Canada, and expect something similar with Switzerland to have even more possession than the hosts did in Toronto.
Bosnia to have 3+ cards is 5/61.84 and is a must-have in a Bet Builder.
And for fouls we're looking at the forwards - with Bosnia's Jovo Lukic 5/61.84 for 2+ fouls and Breel Embolo 6/52.20 for the same multiple foul performance.
Lukic was booked in the first game and puts himself about a bit up front when trying to press or move on the break, while Bosnia's defenders will be all over the physical Embolo, who should have few problems replicating his two-foul outing in the first game.
