We picked the wrong Hoffenheim forward last night, as the in-form Maximilian Beier was hooked in the second half of his side's 3-2 defeat at Bochum, but Andrej Kramaric netted a brilliant brace.
We'll stay in Germany, because the runaway champions Bayer Leverkusen are in Bundesliga action against third-placed Stuttgart, and I think the visitors could cause an upset.
Leverkusen are still unbeaten in all competitions this season, and are on course for a treble of Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and Europa League. However, they were seconds from losing at Borussia Dortmund last weekend, before Josip Stanisic rescued the invincible streak and forced a 1-1 draw.
Xabi Alonso will have to find a solution for the loss of arguably his most influential player, as Granit Xhaka is suspended. The Swiss midfield general has started all 30 Bundesliga matches, and his absence will be a blow. It's also worth noting that Leverkusen have a huge Europa League semi-final first leg coming up against Roma.
Stuttgart are having an exceptional season under smart coach Sebastian Hoeness, who has transformed the team from relegation battlers into a side that will almost certainly qualify for the Champions League. Last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Werder Bremen was a blow, but they still go into the weekend six points ahead of fifth-placed Borussia Dortmund (fifth place may well be enough for a UCL spot anyway).
VfB are a well-coached outfit in general, but the key has been the firepower of striker Serhou Guirassy and Deniz Undav. They have rattled in 42 league goals between them, while the likes of Chris Führich and Enzo Millot have been valuable providers of ammunition.
Leverkusen are 1.75/7 to win this, and while that makes sense for a team that is 14 points clear at the top, Stuttgart pushed them all the way at the BayArena in the DFB Pokal. A pulsating 3-2 win for Bayer was only decided by a last-gasp Jonathan Tah winner, and I think Stuttgart can cause a few problems here. I'll lay the hosts at 1.75/7.
