Kev's on the hunt for a third straight winner, and he's taking us to Nijmegen for a game in the Dutch second tier.
"NEC have won just one of their last four home games, and they face an FC Eindhoven team that's on the charge."
NEC too short for the victory
NEC v FC Eindhoven
Friday October 12, 19:00
Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic had the first word and the last for Serbia last night against Montenegro, and a solid defensive effort secured a 2-0 victory and another winner for us.
We'll head to the Netherlands, and while the national team is preparing for a Nations League clash with Germany (a preview of which you can read here), domestic football continues with the second-tier Eerste Divisie. NEC Nijmegen are up against FC Eindhoven.
FC Eindhoven made a dreadful start to the season, losing their first five matches. Since then they have steadied the ship, losing just one of the last four. They have kept clean sheets in their last two away games, and they recently recorded an impressive 3-0 win at Jong Ajax.
NEC are expected to be part of the promotion shake-up, and they are fifth in the table. However, it's worth noting that they have won just one of their four home games so far, and they have taken just a point from their last two outings.
This is a selection based largely on price. NEC are the better side, and may well take three points, but should they be trading at [1.51] to win given the form of the two sides? I say no, and so let's lay the hosts.
