As nervous waits go, it was a bit of a doozy in Brazil last night. Parana and Ponte Preta shared out two goals between them in the first 16 minutes, but made us sweat on the crucial third goal until the 89th minute. Luizao's own goal means he gets added to the FBOTD Christmas Card list.

We'll return to Northern Europe, because the second-tier 1.Deild in Iceland is often a source of goals, and we're on the trail of fun and fireworks. Magni are facing Afturelding, and I think we'll see plenty of thrills and spills to keep us warm.

Magni are the division's whipping boys, and before their recent 3-1 win over Leiknir Faskruds, they had taken just two points from 11 games. It won't surprise you to learn that they have the worst defensive record in the league, with an eye-watering 31 goals leaked in just 12 outings. Eight of their last nine games have featured at least four goals, and four of those have seen an Over 3.5 Goals bet land.

Afturelding aren't exactly pulling up trees either, as they are averaging a point per game. They have conceded at least twice in five of their last seven competitive matches, and seven of their 12 league outings have contained at least four goals. They have scored twice or more in six of those 12 games.

Over 3.5 Goals is trading at 2.447/5 here, and I think that's an attractive price.
