It started so well for us in Germany last night, as Robert Lewandowski gave Bayern an early lead, but the patched-up champions slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Borussia Mönchengladbach. We'll grit our teeth, brush the Bavarian snow off our coats and head south to Portugal. Boavista are up against Tondela, and I think both teams can find the net.

Boavista have been boosted by the arrival of former Portugal midfielder Petit, who has overseen just one defeat in five, including an extraordinary 5-1 cup win over Braga. Petit is a Boavista man - he had two spells as a player for the Porto-based side, and this is his second spell as their coach.

The Panthers have scored in seven of their last eight competitive matches, with a 2-0 defeat at champions Sporting the only exception. Usefully for our purposes, they have only kept one clean sheet in that time.

Tondela boosted their survival hopes with a 101st-minute winner in a 2-1 success against Moreirense, and they have found the net in 11 of their last 15 competitive games. Defending continues to be a struggle though, as they have leaked 29 goals across those 15 games, and have kept just one clean sheet.

Both Teams To Score is trading at 1.8810/11 here, and that seems an attractive price. That bet landed in both of the clubs' league meetings last season.
