Joe Dyer rounds up the big stories from the exchange on an exciting night of Champions League action.

Premier League clubs suffered mixed fortunes on the second night of Champions League action this week.

Liverpool edged into the last 16 of the competition after winning nervously at Anfield. Chelsea's qualification hopes, however, will go down to the last game after they were pegged back in Bordeaux.
