Reina is beaten with seconds left on the clock - Liverpool were trading at 1.11 to win at that point
"Needing a win to wrest some much-needed control over their Champions League qualification hopes, Liverpool managed to conjure a last-minute wonder goal away to Lyon only to concede at the very death to hand back that hard-fought advantage."
The pain just goes on and on for Rafa's Reds who concede late on at Lyon to put Champions League qualification in serious danger
The heartbreak continues for Liverpool.
Needing a win to wrest some much-needed control over their Champions League qualification hopes, the Reds managed to conjure a last-minute wonder goal away to Lyon only to concede at the very death to hand back that hard-fought advantage.
They are now five points behind Fiorentina - 5-2 winners at home to Debrecen - and six back from group leaders Lyon with two games to play.
Rafa's men had drifted to [7.0] to win before Ryan Babel unleashed from the edge of the box to finally ignite their Champions league campaign. That strike ensured market collapse and the Reds had come in to [1.11] before Lisandro Lopez blasted past Pepe Reina with just seconds left. The final score of 1-1 was backed at [70.0].
There was a asimilar story for Rangers who looked to have hauled themselves into a nice position in Group G after taking a late lead at Unirea Urziceni .
But like Liverpool, Rangers had to endure late pain when their hosts equalised in the 88th minute. The Scottish champions had been backed at [1.16] to win, while the draw drifted to [8.0].
There were further late goals in the Ukraine where Inter Milan pulled off a dramatic comeback to shcok Dynamo Kiev.
The Italians waited until the 86th minute before levelling and 89th to get a winner. They had been backed at [50.0] to win the game while the final score was backed at [32.0].
Group F has an intriguing look to it following another Barcelona failure against Rubin Kazan. The European champions were embarrassed by the Russians at the Nou Camp two weeks ago, losing 2-1, and were held to a 0-0 draw this time around.
With two games to play Inter head the group on six points with their Spanish and Russian rivals just a point back. Kiev are in last place with four points.
