This section highlights a trainer, owner or jockey who is in excellent current form and their runners or rides for the day.

Race of the day
We head up to Ayr today for their 15:20 7f Class 3 Virgin Bet Handicap where the Betfair Sportsbook is paying four places! Soft ground is the order of the day and we know plenty about most of these, and soft ground specialist Zip is one of two I have backed each-way (Wobwobwob the other).
Zip loves soft ground and seven furlongs, and he gets conditions today to run right up to his best.
His latest effort at Haydock when second to soft ground specialist Young Fire reads well in the context of this race, and the drop from Class 2 company into a Class 3 for which his latest form figures read 112 is a positive move by connections.
This is far easier than his fourth off of this handicap mark of 89 in the Victoria Cup at Ascot four starts ago, and he is a consistent type that is sure to hit the frame.
The only niggle with him is that he may be vulnerable to a well-handicapped horse or an improver.
Wobwobwob is one of the more interesting runners in the field. He shaped as though a return to form was imminent when running on strongly at the death over course and distance last time. Connections now opt for a seven-pound claimer (yet to win a race), seeing him just 1lb above his York win three starts ago.
The return to soft ground for which he was a good winner at Newmarket earlier this season is a positive (York win came with ease in the ground also).
He is unexposed over today's 7f and soft ground, and the three-year-old almost certainly has more to come.
He looks like a big threat to standard-setter Zip.
Cold Stare is sure to be popular and has thrived at this level on soft ground this term. He has a bit to find with Zip on their meeting in the Victoria Cup, but his latest run at Haydock recorded a good time figure, and he has the back-class to be taken seriously.
This seven-furlong trip does stretch him, but the lack of pace in today's race will benefit him at this trip.
