14:40, Lingfield - Wolverhampton eye-catcher Horndean to strike

The Adam Kirby-trained Horndean shaped as if ahead of his opening mark of 68 when not beaten far at Wolverhampton last month, worst affected by the trouble in the race, and he can gain compensation this time around.

The Hello Youmzain colt has shown promise on all three starts, and finished his race better than previously when fitted with a tongue-tie last month.

With David Egan an eye-catching jockey booking, a big run looks assured.

15:35, Doncaster - Hat-trick beckons for Musical Times

Exciting prospect Musical Times, who carries the Timeform 'large P', looks more than ready for this step up in class, and she's fancied to maintain her unbeaten start for a Charlie Appleby yard that is in good form.

The Lope De Vega filly was value for extra over the experienced runner-up Scommessa Sicura (who reopposes here), the pair powering clear of the rest, on debut in June, and didn't need to improve to maintain her unbeaten record at Yarmouth next time.

The last Godolphin winner of the 1000 Guineas, Desert Flower, took a similarly understated route to this race; she won this, the Fillies' Mile, and the 1000 Guineas on her next three starts.

16:17, Epsom - Yarmouth runner-up Caraway to gone better

Preference is for Caraway, who remains on a handy mark and will be suited by the likely strong gallop set here.

The Timeform pace prediction for this race is 'strong' thanks to the large field and presence of Shirakawa, Time To Sparkle, Dijon Gone and Fletcher, all of whom tried to go from the front last time out.

Caraway - who picked up the Timeform 'sectional flag' when last seen in July - races off the pace and could easily have won three of her last four starts had she been granted a truer gallop to aim at.
