An opening day full of ups and downs at York, and the rollercoaster for punters continues on day two as the excellent York Ebor Festival gets underway at 13:50.
"He will enjoy this long home straight, looks well treated, and there are very few negatives to his chances from a low draw for an 18/1 shot, so he could be the answer."
Welcome to Thursday, where punters throw on the battle gear to go into war once again with bookmakers at York.

Race Of The Day
Yesterday's "Race Of The Day" went well, calling the Juddmonte right, so today, I thought we would have a crack at the 15:00 Clipper Logistics Handicap where a field of 20 goes to post!
First on my list was Gifted Ruler, who comes here fresher and less exposed than most. He ran a good race at Doncaster last time behind today's rival Baashir but failed to get the gaps and couldn't pick up in time.
His finishing effort really caught the eye, enough to suggest he is ready to strike and now upped to 1m for the first time.
He will enjoy this long home straight, looks well treated, and there are very few negatives to his chances from a low draw for an 18/1 shot, so he could be the answer.
He looks like excellent value in this field.
Cliffs Of Capri caught the eye with a strong finishing effort at Ascot over seven furlongs on his latest start in a hot renewal of the Moet and Chandon International won by Danyah.
That was a step back in the right direction for a horse with stacks of ability but has been out of sorts for some time.
He doesn't hold course form and will try the Knavesmire for the first time today, but he is drawn well, will like the ground and has every chance off of this fair handicap mark of 95.
It was surprising to see the handicapper drop Ametist three pounds for his below-par effort at Newmarket last time. He has been progressive this season and now away from Newmarket (raced there last three times), he may be seen to better effect.
The draw has not favoured him in stall 19 for his first attempt at this one-mile trip, but he has shaped as though he has more to come, and the trip could be the key to unlocking further improvement.
He looks fairly treated in a field where the handicapper holds most.

The Racing League is back at Windsor tonight and I have four bets
The Racing League returns tonight and we head to Windsor in search of more winning selections.
A fair few ups and downs for me yesterday, but the bookies ultimately won the battle. They won't win the war, though.
Here come the girls is the theme of the day at York, but don't forget about the Racing League tonight at Windsor. There are some hot races, and I will be looking to expel that horrifying negative on the profit and loss.
Until tomorrow, be lucky.
