Rayo Vallecano v Getafe
Saturday 13 April, 15:15
An annoying and surprising situation for us in France last night, as our man Elye Wahi was left out of the starting XI in Lens' 2-1 defeat at Metz, so no harm done but no profit either.
We'll head to Spain now, because there's something of a derby between two of the most brutal teams in La Liga, as Rayo Vallecano host Getafe.
There is bad blood between these two. When they met earlier this season, there were three dismissals, and six other players were booked. Last season, the game at Getafe saw the hosts' Carles Alena sent off, and there were seven other players carded. When this matchup last happened at the Estadio de Vallecas, there were five yellow cards.
It's worth remembering that Getafe have consistently been the worst-behaved side in La Liga, especially with coach Jose Bordalas at the helm. This season, the capital club have collected 101 cautions and nine red cards. Rayo have had four red cards and 74 yellows.
You could back Over 6.5 Cards at 6/52.20, given the recent history of the fixture, but I'll actually go for a tip that was recommended on this week's Football Only Bettor by regular guest Mark Stinchcombe. That was to back a red card to be shown at 15/82.88 - tempers are likely to flare in what's become a vicious rivalry, and the teams have picked up 13 dismissals between them in the league this term.
