Football Bet of the Day: Parma to make ham-fisted attempt at winning

Frosinone made some big chances against Pisa last night, but couldn't quite find a winner in a goalless draw. We still made a profit for the week, and while our chum Tobias runs around completing his Christmas preparations, we'll keep hold of the FBOTD baton.

We'll stay in Italy, because Brescia are up against Parma in Serie B, and I think the hosts can pick up at least a point.

Parma were relegated from Serie A a couple of seasons ago, and they only finished 12th in the second tier last term. This time around they are eighth, and they aren't in great form. Fabio Pecchia's side has managed just two wins in the last seven games, and they have only won once on the road all season. Their last four away games have seen them lose at Sudtirol and Palermo and draw at Pisa and Cagliari.

Brescia are another former Serie A dweller, and they are a point and two places above tonight's opponents. They have only lost one of their last seven, and at home they have lost just once this term.

I fancy Brescia to avoid defeat tonight, and I don't think we'll see many goals, so I'll dip into the Sportsbook's Bet Builder.
