Tuesday Football Tips: Back 13/2 shot in crucial Algeria tie

Algeria are in trouble in the Africa Cup of Nations after drawing their opening two outings, but they will fancy getting their first win on the board against bottom side Mauritania.

A win would also give Mauritania a sniff of making the last 16, and although they've not won in six, they did at least end their seven-hour goal drought with a 3-2 defeat to Angola last time out.

Leg 1: Baghdad Bounedjah to score

It pays to ride the hot hand sometimes in tournament football and no and is hotter than Baghdad Bounedjah's with three goals in two games so far.

The Al Sadd forward bagged twice against Burkina Faso last time out, following goals agianst Angola and Somalia before that.

He's 5/42.25 anytime goalscorer here and is the standout option - who also scored against Mauritania the last time he faced them.

Leg 2: Algeria 2+ cards

Algeria have been shown at least two cards in their last three games, and this one the biggest of the lot with their AFCON qualification on the line.

They've had at least two cards in eight of their last 12 and with everything on the line then it's easy to back Algeria to be shown 2+ cards at 6/52.20.

Which isn't a bad price considering recent trends.

Leg 3: Mauritania 2+ cards

We'll also take Mauritania to get 2+ cards at 4/61.67 as they've managed exactly two in both their AFCON matches so far.

With Mauritania manager Amir Abdou vowing to "eliminate" their opponents then it's easy to see what frame of mind they'll be in for the game.

Overall they've seen two cards or more in six of eight - and importantly Algeria's opponents have seen at least two cards brandished in eight of their last 12.
