It's now a joint-best 32 games unbeaten for Bayer Leverkusen, who can break Bayern Munich's all-time German record unbeaten run with victory over Mainz on Friday.

More importantly, they can also take a big step towards taking Bayern's Bundesliga title by stretching their lead to 11 points by beating the second-bottom side in the table.

Mainz ended their 11-game winless run last time out, but Xabi Alonso's side have the best home record in the league, and the best defensive record on home soil having conceded just six times.

It looks like a regulation home win on the cards, but what should we have in our Bet Builder?

He's 4/91.44 for 1+ shot on target on Friday night, something he's managed in four of his last six games.

With Bayer bounding towards the title Wirtz should be at the centre of the action.

Leg 3: Jeremie Frimpong 1+ shot on target

Frimpong has scored in Bayer's last two games, and although three in a row may be asking a lot, 8/151.53 for 1+ shot on target is not much to ask.

The Dutchman has had 21 shots on target this season and has shown recently that he's a threat.

He's had 25 attempts on goal in his last 13 games so there's enough volume as well to suggest just hitting the target once shouldn't be a problem.
