Aston Villa v Brentford Tip - Bogarde can star in bookings bonanza

Sunday, 14:00
Live on Sky Sports

Tim Robinson is the best referee in the Premier League for dishing out the cards.

In five appearances this season, he has averaged 5.40 cards a game and given 3/5/11/4. Across his career, he has taken charge of 44 EPL games and averaged 4.4 cards a game. Great consistency.

Naturally, the player card market is worth a look and Lamare Bodgarde has to be the pick for Aston Villa.

He is tied with two squadmates on five cards for the season but has reached that tally in about a third of the game time.

With Boubacar Kamara, Youri Tielemans and John McGinn injured he should get the nod in central midfield and at 13/53.60, his price to be booked is a touch too big.

Manchester United v Fulham Tip - It's got to be Bruno

Sunday, 14:00
Live on Sky Sports

At 2/13.00, Bruno Fernandes' price for 1+ assist has to be the bet.

He put it on a plate for Patrick Dorgu at the Emirates last weekend and that was the Portuguese playmaker's 10th assist of the season.

Fernandes didn't actually open his assist account for the campaign until his eighth Premier League appearance which means he has registered all 10 in his last 13 games.

He is enjoying life under Michael Carrick as well, operating further forward, essentially back in the number 10 role, and has registered an assist in each game under United's new manager.

Nottingham Forest v Crystal Palace Tip - Johnson set for another yellow

Sunday, 14:00
Live on Sky Sports

Michael Salisbury is one of the best referees in the Premier League for cards, averaging 4.56 a game. In his last five appearances he has dished out 24 yellows and interestingly awarded six penalties.

With Adam Wharton suspended, Jefferson Lerma could play in midfield alongside Will Hughes or Lerma could slot into a back three as he has done a few times this season. Either way, both should play and both players pick up a lot of cards.

At Crystal Palace, Hughes has picked up 31Y five seasons which is a card per 90 average of 0.41 which roughly translates to a price of 6/42.50. Lerma has five cards in 940 Premier League minutes this term and a cards per 90 average of 0.35 at Selhurst Park which works out around 2/13.00

At 8/52.60 and 17/102.70 respectively, the pair are a touch too short to back this weekend unfortunately.

At 10/34.33, Brennan Johnson's price for a card is big enough though.

He picked up two cards at Tottenham in the top flight and was sent off in the Champions League before making the move to Palace in January.

In four appearances for the Eagles, he has been carded twice and looks a bet to add to that tally against his former employers.

Tottenham v Manchester City

Sunday, 16:30
Live on Sky Sports

Given the hysteria around Tottenham's Premier League campaign, it was funny to see them finish in the top-eight of the Champions League group stage in midweek.

Spurs did have a pretty favourable schedule in Europe and I am not sure what their excuse is in the top-flight. Thomas Frank's side sit down in 14th with more defeats (9) than wins (7). They have had most of their joy away from home in games where they don't dominate possession.

Although they are hosting Manchester City, the dynamic of the game could suit them but can they be trusted? Against the top-six at home, they've played five and lost four.

Pep Guardiola's side have gained some ground on Arsenal at the top of the division after the Gunners dropped points against Manchester United but City are still four points behind.

Their away form is patchy as well. The Cityzens have taken 17 points in 11 games, winning five, but the majority of those wins have come against sides in the bottom six. Oh wait, Tottenham are seventh bottom by goal-difference.

Pep also has Antoine Semenyo, Marc Guehi and Rodri back at his disposal after the trio were unavailable in midweek. Erling Haaland also ended his 'drought' (five games without a goal) after he bagged the opener against Galatasaray.

At 2.226/5 on the Betfair Exchange, backing City -1 on the Asian handicap is the bet. It is money back if they win by a one goal margin and a full winner if they win by two goals or more.
