Football Bet of the Day: Rosenborg to vanquish Viking

In Italy last night, Sassuolo thrashed Genoa 5-0 to land our goals bet with something to spare.

We've come to Norway today for one of this evening's two matches from the top-flight Eliteserien. Since 2015, Viking have travelled to Rosenborg once a season and lost all four matches by a combined score of 1-13. We fancy there's more pain on the way this evening.

Rosenborg are no longer Norway's champions, having come home third last term, but there was little drop-off in their home form. Even including a slow start to the season, they went W11-D3-L1 at Lerkendal Stadion. The Troll Children made another slow start this term, taking two points from their first three home games, but have most recently won their last two and appear to be back on track.

Tenth-placed Viking have lost 3/5 on the road this season, only avoiding defeat at teams now below them in the table. Last term, they came home fifth, but still struggled away to stronger outfits, losing 6/6 at the teams who finished alongside them in the top seven. We're backing them to struggle again this evening.
