Football Bet of the Day: Defences to melt away in Iceland

In Norway yesterday, Bodo Glimt thrashed Stabaek 4-1 to land Kev's handicap bet with a goal to spare. He finishes his three-week triple shift in this chair on a high and can now go catch up on a little thing called Euro 2020.

We're leaving all of that behind us as we head to Iceland for one of this evening's three games from the top-flight Urvalsdeild. We fancy fifth-placed KR Reykjavik can land a BTTS bet for a fifth straight home game.

Runar Kristinsson's hosts are W1-D1-L2 on home turf this season, with games finishing 1-3, 2-3, 1-1 and, most recently, 3-1. They're odds-on favourites to win again today but that defensive record says they might not have everything their own way. In fact, going back into last term, they are 12 home matches without a clean sheet - and BTTS has been the right bet in all 12.

Visiting Stjarnan are winless in five on the road this season, but have scored in each of the last two. BTTS has landed in 3/3 league meetings with KR in the last couple of campaigns, and in each of their most recent four games home and away. We'll take it land again today.
