Football Bet of the Day: Goztepe to fall to Fenerbahce

In Scotland yesterday, Celtic beat Aberdeen but couldn't keep the clean sheet we needed from them. They won 2-1. It was a winning week for us and we need another one this week to give ourselves a decent shot at finishing the year in profit.

We're in Turkey today for the Super League match between 18th-placed Goztepe and fifth-placed Fenerbahce. At an odds-against price we fancy the visitors to walk away with all three points.

Home and away, Goztepe are on a losing streak of four. At Gursel Aksel Stadium, they are W1-D0-L5 this season, failing to score at all in any of those five losses.

Fenerbahce, who won this fixture last term, won at old rivals Galatasaray last time out. They are W4-D0-L3 on the road, with all three losses coming at teams now alongside them in the top six. Going back to the beginning of 2020/21 the Canaries have won 18/27 league away games. Last season they won 10/11 at teams who finished outside the top 10.
