League One
Northampton Town have won just one of their last 13 league visits to Blackpool (D1 L11), losing their last four in a row since winning 2-1 in March 2002 and this is not a good fixture for the Cobblers to buck that trend, as they are meeting a side in rip-roaring form at the moment.
The Tangerines head into Tuesday off the back of a pair of 4-0 victories home and away and produced the result of the season against the league leaders Portsmouth on Saturday with the three points - although Pompey played 30 minutes with ten men. That ended Pompey's 27-match unbeaten run.
It's no surprise the hosts are 2/51.40 for this, so we should explore the HT/FT which returns 5/42.25 as Neil Critchley's side have scored 21 at Bloomfield Road in ten matches and have won five of their last seven home league games (L2), as many as their previous 20 beforehand (W5 D7 L8).
KEY OPTA STAT: Blackpool have won each of their last three league meetings with Northampton; only in October 1987 have they ever won four in a row over the Cobblers in the Football League.
Carlisle have lost both of their last two away league games, while they haven't suffered three straight league defeats on the road since May 2022, and are five points ahead of the Royals in a relegation battle.
Reading won 1-2 away on Saturday - a result I did not see coming as the Royals have been awful away from home. They restricted Wycombe to just one shot on target, but to back them to follow up wouldn't be my idea of a bet at a price of 10/111.91.
Five of Carlisle's last seven matches have been Under 2.5 Goals and their away xG is low at 0.99.
Cumbrians boss Paul Simpson would have been encouraged from Saturday's 1-1 at the Valley, he said: "We've got to happy with a point. Charlton are a good side -- as good as anybody we've faced this season. We've got to aspire to get to that level, because the truth is we're not quite there at the moment."

Carlisle have won just one of their five previous away games at Reading in the Football League spanning from 1962 to 1982 (D1 L3), a 2-1 victory in March 1965, and with both teams in such a perilous position, both will be happy to come out with a point.
KEY OPTA STAT: After winning three straight home league games in August/September, Reading are winless in their last four (D2 L2).
Fourth plays fifth on Tuesday and a bit of a Steve Evans derby and there's no doubt Stevenage are the surprise package of the division this term.
Evans has already started with the predictable praise of the opponents while saying "Little ole Stevenage", and it's as expected now as the Evans jig. He said prior to Tuesday: ""Posh changed policy this season by going very young, but they've underplayed their expectations.
"With the players they have in the squad they should be aiming for a top two finish and a return to the Championship. They are that good."
Stevenage have only lost one of their last 13 home league games (W7 D5), a 1-3 defeat to Oxford United in September an I am tapping into the draw column there and happy to back the stalemate in the Match Odds.
You can back the 90 minutes Draw for the insurance to negate a late goal, and Posh have lost both of their last two games against Stevenage in all competitions, both coming last season in the League Cup (1-0) and EFL Trophy (2-1), so there hasn't been much between them in the past.
KEY OPTA STAT: Peterborough have only failed to score in one of their last 11 away league games, a 0-1 defeat at Northampton in August.
League Two
Stockport for once, let the column down on Saturday, but the weekend produced some strange results, but County's loss to Newport hasn't made them a bad side, and the Sportsbook agrees with a price of 2/51.40 this Tuesday.
The HT/FT appeals again, but Salford are conceding for fun at the moment and shipped four at home to the MK Dons on Saturday so it's a game that should produce goals as Stockport are 1.64 xG at home and Salford are 1.49 with an xG against on the road.
Dave Challinor's side ran out 3-1 winners in their last meeting with Salford City across all competitions, with Paddy Madden scoring a hat-trick in a EFL Trophy group stage match, and I expect them to bounce back after the shock of Saturday.
KEY OPTA STAT: Stockport County have won each of their last six League Two home matches, keeping a clean sheet in five of those games - the only exception being a 3-2 win vs Grimsby in October.
It's not often you'd see Barrow at odds-on for a match, well for me anyway as I have barely touched on Barrow at all. But they are unbeaten in the league since early October and have one of the best home defences (second only to Mansfield) with just five conceded all season.
Barrow have won three of their last five league matches against Walsall (D2), which is as many victories as they managed in their previous 20 Football League games against the Saddlers (D7 L9), and with Walsall proving to be somewhat leaky on the road, I am hoping the hosts can justify their short price.
Walsall have won just two of their last 21 league matches on the road (D8 L11), although both of those wins occurred this season (2-1 v Salford in September, 3-1 v Bradford in September) and are there for the taking.
KEY OPTA STAT: Barrow are unbeaten in eight home matches in League Two (W4 D4), their longest unbeaten run at home in the Football League since a run of 19 between February and November 1968.
Crewe are still providing great entertainment and they snatched a last minute win on Saturday with a 3-2 success against Doncaster, and while my first thought was to go Overs or BTTS, both are pretty short - especially the latter, and the 7/42.75 on Crewe looks too big.
Sutton United have won two of their last four home matches (W2 D1 L1), which is as many as they managed in their previous 13 (W2 D3 L8), but they are bottom and have nearly conceded as many as they have scored - which is not ideal against a Crewe team that continue to excel on the xG front. They are 1.27 for and a surprising 1.53 away against.
The Alex have won both of their last two away league matches, and are looking to win three consecutive such matches on the road for the first time since March 2017.
KEY OPTA STAT: The last league meeting between Sutton United and Crewe Alexandra ended in a 1-1 draw, with Sutton United scoring a 90th minute equaliser through Coby Rowe.
