The stakes are high and I don't expect fireworks
I'm not expecting a blockbuster from this one. You know when you get a spectacle? At the end of the season when you have your champions, you have the teams that are qualified for different competition. That's when you get a 6-3, 7-3, 7-4 scoreline, when the players are playing freely and enjoying their football even more as they have nothing to lose.
In a mid-season game like the one at Old Trafford on Sunday there is a lot of pressure on both teams. It can stop you enjoying your football because you need to stick to the rules and tactics and the way the manager wants to play football.
So because of this, I think we could have a boring game. I hope I'm proven wrong. If it's a boring game then I'll understand. If Spurs win the game then they'll be 11 points ahead of United. If United win then it'll be a five-point gap. There is a lot of stake.
To enjoy these games as a player, you need to have a different mindset and be really cocky, confident and arrogant and to know that even if the stakes are high that you can still continue to do what you'd normally do. Be yourself. If you think like this then you're going to be successful.
Most of the time when the stakes are so high you're a bit more cautious, a bit more defensive and waiting for the opposition to make a mistake. Then you try to strike.
Both teams need a winning run
If United or Spurs win the match - and none of the last 17 Premier League meetings between them at Old Trafford have finished level - it won't be a statement victory for either team if they lose the next game.
This is how big teams do it - win, win, win. Of course you'll lose a game or two, but you need to know when to win, be ready mentally and concentrated enough to get the points.
When you're close to the top four, and you have the chance to extend the gap between you and your rivals, you need to deal with the pressure. Of course, even the big teams can fail under pressure. We've seen it many times and we'll see it again in the future.

For Spurs, this match is a chance to keep in touch with the top four. As long as they stay concentrated, they have the quality to win, but the same goes for United as well. There are a lot of similarities between the teams' situations right now.
I always tried to enjoy football and entertain, so I'm enjoying Tottenham's style of play under Ange. But at the same time, you need to get the results and points. You need to climb higher in the table and try to win trophies.
If we leave out the position in the table and trophies, I like what I see. Spurs are playing brave, attacking football. They're not afraid to make a mistake. This is the type of football the fans like to see. Is that going to bring success? We'll see at the end of the season.
Man Utd v Spurs Prediction and Bet Builder
Leg 1 - Back Under 2.5 goals
Leg 2 - Rasmus Hojlund shot on target
Leg 3 - Man United to win
United can exploit the space behind Tottenham's defence. They can take advantage of the bravery that Spurs show in the final third, the risky passes and risky play. United can even try to press them to get the ball back, but at the same time, United need to be careful based on their recent performances.
United will draw confidence from their good record against Spurs at Old Trafford, but that should not be any comfort whatsoever.
I don't think new Spurs loanee Timo Werner will start. He might come on at some point. Richarlison is in a great position to continue his goalscoring streak because this is how strikers think. He's feeling great. Ange should use that confidence in the game.
With United, I still sincerely hope Marcus Rashford will come back to form because United need him. His speed, his assists, his goals, everything. Alejandro Garnacho is doing everything he can for the team.

Rasmus Hojlund scored his first Premier League goal last month, but he needs to be very careful and take his opportunity to score if he gets it because against Wigan, he had a good opportunity with his head that he missed. Let's hope that won't negatively impact him.
The quality is there and it's up to both teams to know what to do. Let's see who will be the smarter team.
I can see this being a tight game and I'm going to say it will be 1-0 to United. It sounds boring, but I hope that's not the case. I think there's a lot at stake for both teams. That can sometimes play with your mind and make you not produce your best game possible.
