They also banked on some Arsenal indiscipline, correctly backing Gunners defender Ben White to be booked, Bukayo Saka to commit a foul and Kai Havertz to commit two. 

It was a fantastic occasion at Wembley and one which City will hope has implications for the Premier League title race. Arsenal are 1/141.07 to be champions, due to their nine point advantage over City, albeit having played a game more, while Guardiola's men are 7/18.00.

International football takes over now for the next week or so but the Premier League is poised perfectly for a dramatic finish to the season.
