Premier League Top 4 Finish

Aston Villa were the big winners in the Premier League Top 4 Finish market in Matchday 31 as they beat West Ham 2-0 on Sunday afternoon while their three main rivals could only pick up a single point between them.

Manchester United drew 2-2 with Bournemouth on Friday night, but the point they picked up there was one more than Liverpool and Chelsea who both suffered away defeats on Saturday.

United's draw keeps them third in the table on 55 points, just one point ahead of Villa, but the gap between Villa in fourth and Liverpool in fifth is now five points after the Reds lost 2-1 at Brighton. Chelsea are a further point behind in sixth place after suffering a heavy 3-0 defeat at Everton.

In the Premier League Top 4 Finish market Man United are now long odds-on to finish in the top four at 1/161.06  while Villa have shortened from 13/82.63 last week to 1/21.50 this week.

Liverpool are the third favourites at 13/82.63 with Chelsea at 9/25.50. That is the biggest price each club has been in the market all season.

Although Brentford and Everton are certainly not out of the race to finish in the top four the market doesn't give them much chance of doing so, priced up at 66/167.00 and 80/181.00 respectively.

Team Current Odds Pre-Season Odds Sportsbook High Sportsbook Low
Man United 1/161.06 3/14.00 5/16.00 1/111.09

Premier League Relegation

It's been a huge weekend in the Premier League Relegation market with Nottingham Forest being the biggest winners thanks to their 3-0 win over Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.

In undoubtedly the biggest six-pointer of the season so far Tottenham's miserable record in 2026 - and under interim boss Igor Tudor - continued in front of an expectant home crowd when they fell to yet another home defeat. But this one was damaging as it came against one of their direct rivals to avoid the drop.

Forest went into the game 17th in the table, one point behind Spurs, but although the victory only moved them up one place, they not only moved two points clear of Tottenham but they had a six-goal turnaround in goal difference thanks to their 3-0 win. Vitor Periera's men are now on 32 points with a -12 goal difference. Spurs are two points behind with a -10 goal difference.

Tottenham's weekend could have been much worse had Leeds United beat Brentford on Saturday night but the 0-0 draw in the game keeps Leeds three points ahead of Spurs with a -11 goal difference. A reminder that should two or more teams finish on the same number of points, their league positions will be determined by goal difference.

Spurs will also have been delighted with the result at Villa Park where West Ham went down 2-0 to Aston Villa. That result keeps the Hammers in the final relegation slot, just one point behind Tottenham. Significantly perhaps, West Ham have by far the worse goal difference of the quartet on -21.

In the Relegation market West Ham remain favourites to go down at 11/102.11, but that prices is only marginally shorter than Tottenham's price of 5/42.25 for the drop, the shortest price they've been all season. Forest and Leeds can be backed at 11/26.50 and 6/17.00 respectively.

Team Current Odds Pre-Season Odds Sportsbook High Sportsbook Low
West Ham 11/102.11 5/16.00 5/16.00 1/101.10

Leeds 6/17.00 11/102.11 20/121.00 11/102.11
