England midfielder Conor Gallagher is 5/23.50 to make a sensational move across London from Chelsea to Tottenham on transfer deadline day.
The 23-year-old has played in all three of the Blues Premier League matches under Mauricio Pochettino but reports on Friday morning say he could move and the Betfair odds back that up.
Gallagher wants to be a Premier League starter as he aims to build on a promising start to his career and, with Chelsea signing midfielders Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia this summer, he may believe he best opportunities lie elsewhere.
Chelsea could be open to selling after another window of big spending continued with the capture of Cole Palmer from Manchester City for around £40m plus add-ons.
Spurs have emerged as serious contenders to sign Gallagher but Bayern Munich 9/25.50 who have been looking to bolster their midfielder could also be in for him.
In other Spurs-related news, negotiations with Nottingham Forest for their forward Brennan Johnson were said to be advancing, as Ange Postecoglou tries to strengthen his attack on deadline day.
McTominay exit could mean Utd get Amrabat
Scott McTominay could still leave Manchester United today and Fulham 9/43.25 are the favourites to sign the Scot.
That deal is connected to United's pursuit of Sofyan Amrabat who could yet get his move to Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag wants to bring in the Moroccan but United are leaving it late and, if they fail in their pursuit of him, they may need to hold on to McTominay.
It was reported this morning that the Red Devils would make another proposal to Fiorentina today to loan the Moroccan who is said to want the move.
It's frantic stuff at Old Trafford and fans are once again wondering why their club have left it so late to get their business done.
Harry Maguire, meanwhile, is 2/131.15 to stay at United, with a move to West Ham out to 7/24.50, as Betfair ambassador Dimitar Berbatov discussed in his column this week.
Klopp says Salah staying with Saudi move 4/1
Jurgen Klopp played down the chances of Mo Salah leaving Liverpool in this window.
There has been intense speculation that the Egyptian could join a team in the Saudi Pro League but, although clubs there can keep doing transfer business until 7 September, the move is out to 4/15.00.
The Liverpool boss said there had been no offers for Salah ("as far as I know") and einvsages the three-time Premier League Golden Boot winner playing a key role for his team this season.
Liverpool have made a good start to the season, taking seven points from their three matches. They are 11.010/1 on the Betfair Exchange to win the Premier League and 1.68/13 to finish in the top four.
