Mason Mount 15/8 to make Man Utd move

Mason Mount may be on his way to Manchester United this summer, according to the Betfair odds on the move which shortened from 4/1 to 15/8 on Wednesday.

The England star is entering the final year of his contract and, after a miserable season of chaos at Stamford Bridge, is tipped to move this summer. He is currently out injureed so may have played his last game for the Blues.

Erik ten Hag is a big admirer of the 24-year-old and is keen to beat Liverpool 2/1 and Arsenal 9/2 in the race to sign him.

A report said that United would make an initial offer of £55m but Chelsea value him at £85m.

United have been criticised by fans for leaving their transferer business late in recent summers (remember the Frenkie De Jong saga of 2022?) and Ten Hag is keen bring in talent early this time.
