Kim Min-jae to Man Utd shortens to evens

Manchester United shortened to evens to sign Kim Min-jae amid reports that the Red Devils had triggered the £51m euro release clause for the Napoli defender.

The South Korean was key to Napoli's Serie A winning season and has attracted attention from some of Europe's biggest clubs. Newcastle are 3/1 to sign him and Paris Saint-Germain 5/1 are also tracking him.

With Harry Maguire potentially leaving this summer, Raphael Varane prone to injury and Victor Lindelof unconvincing, Ten Hag is in the market for a central defender.

Twenty-six-year-old Min-jae fits the bill and reports in UK newspapers today said his representatives have already spoken to United about the move.

He was the linchpin in a Napoli defence that kept 20 clean sheets en route to winning the league title. He also scored twice and provided two assists.

He will undergo three weeks of mandatory South Korean military services and could be free to join United next month.
