Kieran Tierney backed from 20/1 to 5/2 for Celtic return

Kieran Tierney was backed in from 20/121.00 to 5/23.50 on Betfair after reports that Brendan Rodgers will try to bring the defender back to Celtic from Arsenal.

The 26-year-old played was at the Scottish champions, where he came through the youth system, for 10 years before leaving for the Gunners in 2015.

He is expected to leave this summer, after falling out of favour under Mikel Areta, and Celtic look set to challenge Newcastle 6/42.50 for his signature.

Arsenal are getting closer to signing the Ajax defender Jurrien Timber. Reports said they submitted a second bid on Monday for the 22-year-old whose arrival could increase the likelihood of Tierney leaving north London this summer.
