Harvey Barnes linked with 13/8 Newcastle move

Eddie Howe wants to add firepower to his attack and thinks Harvey Barnes may be the ideal signing for Newcastle.

Barnes is set to leave Leicester this season and, with Newcastle back in the Champions League for the first time in 20 years, the move could appeal to the 25-year-old.

Howe has strengthened central midfield with the signing of Italy international Sandro Tonali. Now the Magpies boss wants to bolster his frontline and give Newcastle more width.

Newcastle are 13/82.63 to sign Barnes but West Ham 8/111.73 are the favourites. The Hammers will have money to spend once the deal to sell Declan Rice to Arsenal is completed.

Aston Villa 15/28.50 are also interested in Barnes and, if he favours staying in the Midlands after leaving Leicester, Unai Emery's improving outfit could be good move for the winger.

Tottenham have also been linked but a move to play under Ange Postecoglou in north London is 9/110.00.
