Udinese did Sampdoria few favours last night, but they did us a solid as they cruised to a 2-0 win in Serie A. We're off to a winning start to the week, and we'll reinvest that money in a little Swedish adventure.

The Allsvenskan season is just a few weeks old, but Varnamo and rock-bottom Varbergs are already struggling. Varbergs haven't won any of their first six games, they were just smashed 6-0 at home by Malmo, and they have only scored three league goals.

These struggles shouldn't come as a massive surprise. Varbergs only finished 14th in the Allsvenskan, keeping their place in the top division thanks to a playoff win over Öster. If you stretch back into last season, they have won just four of their last 24 top-division matches.

Varnamo finished tenth in the Allsvenskan last term, which wasn't a bad effort for a newly-promoted side that was in the third tier as recently as 2020. They are finding goals hard to come by as well, having scored just four times across their first six games.

I think Under 2.5 Goals is a fair enough price here at 1.824/5. Varnamo have seen four of the last five home matches stay under the 2.5 goals line, while Varbergs have failed to score at all in five of their last 13 away games in the league.
