Having picked up a winner in the UEFA Nations League, Kev's looking for an odds-against success in the AFCON qualifiers.
"Sudan's recent record is awful, with no competitive win for nearly a year, and a 16-game winless streak that includes friendlies."

Sudan v DR Congo

Bosnia did the business for us last night, as their 1-0 win over Romania was well under the 2.5 goals line. With a spring in our step, we'll board a plane to Sudan for an AFCON qualifier that also involves DR Congo.
Sudan are on a nightmare run of 16 games without victory, and they were smashed 3-0 by Mauritania in their opening AFCON qualifier. They haven't won a game since August last year, when they beat Niger in a friendly, and they haven't won a competitive match since an Arab Cup victory over Libya. That win was nearly a year ago.
DR Congo also lost their opening qualifier as they were edged out 1-0 at home by Gabon, and they were well beaten in the World Cup qualifying playoff by Morocco. However, there's an argument to say they have more quality in their ranks, with players like Brentford forward Yoane Wissa and former Stuttgart speedster Chadrac Akolo at their disposal. They have won three of their last eight games, and have lost just four of their last 11.
The Match Odds market is split down the middle here, and we can take advantage of that by backing DR Congo with a bit of insurance, I'm happy to back them Draw No Bet here at 2.021/1.
